GABP Ring Implantation

The silicone rubber elastomeric GaBP RING is designed for internal use in the field of Bariatric obesity surgery. These bands are of a soft consistency that provides for patient comfort and safety. The bands are radiopaque and made from implant-grade silicone rubber. The ends of the bands have a plastic one-way locking mechanism that can be applied manually or laparoscopically. A flexible introducer is included (preattached) and is used to guide the GaBP Ring through the lesser omentum and around the gastric pouch.

The band assembly is reinforced with a monofilament core for strength and to help control food intake. The Gastrostomy Site Marker is reinforced with polyester to aid in suture retention.
