    Dr. Balamurugan Senthilnathan is a consultant Bariatric and Metabolic Surgeon at PSG Super Speciality Hospitals. He has a Masters in Surgery from PSG Institute of Medical Sciences and Research and Fellowships in Minimal Access Surgery and Advanced Laparoscopic Surgery. He has also a Fellowship in Metabolic and Bariatric Surgery from the renowned Asian Bariatrics, Ahmedabad under the able guidance of Dr. Mahendra Narwaria.

    He has presented and published many papers at International and National Conferences in India and other countries. He is a life member of the Indian Medical Association, the Indian Association of Gastrointestinal Endo Surgeons, and the Obesity Surgeons Society of India. He is one of the upcoming Bariatric surgeons who has received many appreciations and accolades from his fellow seniors and also his chiefs for his laparoscopic skills while performing surgeries. His main objective is to establish a dedicated Minimal Access Surgery focusing on Bariatric and Metabolic Surgery and to create awareness among people who are suffering from Obesity and stay on the right path of weight management. His interest in the field of lifestyle disease was created from his childhood as being university and state-level basketball player which he started playing at the age of 8 years.
